Home Uncategorized Eric Prydz adds another masterpiece to his ‘Opus’

Eric Prydz has a reputation unmatched within the sphere of electronic dance music. His continued creativity, dominance and guardianship of the progressive house genre elevated to new standards in 2015, with a release list that surpassed expectations and imaginations. And while we can still marvel as the Swedish maestro’s work from last year, his debut album is next chapter of his esteemed career to draw attention.

The ‘Opus’ album already features the likes of “Every Day”, “Liberate” and “Generate”, as well as the 9-minute masterstroke “Opus”. But there’s now a new name to the list of addictive ID’s from Eric Prydz’ sets – “Last Dragon”. Having been played at his Cafe Mambo appearances in Ibiza and his features at BBC Radio 1, the new original once again encapsulates the full ‘Prydz-package’ we’ve come to know and love.

The formula of mastered synths and curated atmospheres is never far away from an Eric Prdyz production. With transcending sounds that could make immortals spiritual, the odyssey and legacy the Swede is creating, is something that won’t be full appreciated until the end. Deliberate in its method, “Last Dragon” is the continuation of the 2015 momentum we had hoped would spill over into this year.

‘Opus’ is now available for purchase.
