Armin van Buuren adds Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz to ASOT main stage at UMF 2016
And as we head into the beautiful summer lined-up in store for us in 2016, the best gift for global festival goers has just arrived. Ultra Miami announced its 2016 line-up and while many a time the announcement has caught the eyes of blogs and audiences alike, this year’s performers and organizers have stepped the game up by a notch after Armin van Buuren announced two of the world’s biggest production heavyweights Eric Prydz and Deadmau5 as part of his ‘A State Of Trance’ stage which is organized annually at the Ultra destination.
What is surprising is that this is probably the first few signs of real world contact that we can witness between the Canadian producer Zimmerman and Dutch maestro Armin van Buuren ever since the mutual jibe-sharing that Twitter witnessed two years back. With Armin inviting Joel to play trance on ASOT700, Joel declined “politely” by asking Armin if he would like to come and feed his cat at his house. Regardless, the artists seem to have resolved that stance and are here to do what they do best – provide the unreal experience of their music. And who better could you find to join you up on stage than Eric Prydz. After debuting last year at the stage, Prydz’ return is confirmed amidst the release of his debut album ‘Opus‘. For what it’s worth, Eric Prydz looks set to have one of the best years of his career as an artist.
