deadmau5 is in serious production mode. 2016 has seen a string of short compositions from Joel Zimmerman and he’s shown no signs of slowling down as he adds four more previews to his arsenal of ID masterpieces. In the last 24 hours, deadmau5 dropped 4 new productions; this time bringing in hip-hop into the mix.

The first titled ‘gsadfawe4’, is built on a rumbly bassline with a distorted touch; giving it an old-timer vinyl feel. The tune is simply begging for an old school rapper to lay down some bars.

The second tune from the mau5 lies somewhere in the realms of experimental dance music combined with chill-step. Joel proceeds to coin the genre ‘#boredstep’ in typical deadmau5 fashion.

The following is titled ‘the carp is mine’, a bass-heavy tune kicks in along with lyrics from Jay-Z’s 1997 hit “The City Is Mine.”

‘fuck you too’ is the last of the masterpiece collection. The Beastie Boys’ infamous jam, ‘Fuck You’ in the deadmau5 remix.
