Attention trance and dance music fans. A few months ago, Dutch titan Ferry Corsten announced the return of his and Tiesto’s fabled Gouryella act. Ferry has now gone ahead to confirm that the lucky audience of Belgium’s Tomorrowland will be graced by the uplifting trance scores of Gouryella.
Unfortunately, Tiesto will not be returning alongside Corsten for the act. “After “Tenshi” he decided to leave the Gouryella project, so all Gouryella shows will be done by myself.” – Ferry
It’s been 13 years since the project came to an end. Ferry has revived the project thanks to persistant pressure from Trance fans worldwide through ‘Anahera‘; a soulful and uplifting score.
“Throughout my career, wherever I’ve played in the world, one question that continues to crop up from the fans is when I am going to bring Gouryella back. I’ve always been incredibly touched by the love and appetite they’ve shown this side of my musical career. For the last 4 maybe 5 years I’ve been thinking about bringing Gouryella back but just haven’t been able to find the right production when I was in the studio, that was until ‘Anahera’, after the feedback from the fans on this latest Gouryella track. I know it was time!”
