Nominees announced for the first ever Electronic Music Awards
Created by legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold, responsible for one of the greatest mixes of all time with his Goa Essential Mix, the Electronic Music Awards will host it’s first-ever awards ceremony on April 14th of this year and today, they announced the nominees for the awards inaugural event.
The awards fairly reflect all genres of electronic music, and features names from Calvin Harris to Dixon. While many may have expected the awards to represent only the mainstream side of dance music, we were pleasantly surprised to see quite a bit of diversity amongst the nominees with the awards categories ranging from single and album of the year to the likes of the radio show of the year.
