While looking for talent among the ranks of artists who are on the rise in the blooming industry, Russia’s answer lies in the musical talents of Amersy, who was the talk of scene when he won Nicky Romero’s remix contest aged just 16. Now 19, Amersy has been travelling the Electronic Dance Music landscape experiencing the revered artist spaces like Ingrosso‘s Refune Records, Axwell‘s Axtone, Armada Music’s Trice Recordings, Nicky Romero‘s Protocol recordings and Sander van Doorn‘s Doorn Records. And to take it to another level in the sphere of Dance music, he joins forces with Milan’s USAI as they release their next record ‘Opium’ on House Music’s label-cum-community Code Red which has Marcus Schossow at the helm of affairs.

With this being one his first collaborations, USAI received the perfect platform to justify the support that he got from the likes of Steve Angello, Hardwell, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Axwell and Nicky Romero among others, an upper hand that upcoming producers can only dream of. And after releases on Armada and Protocol, the man from Milan looks to take the House Music community by storm with the latest on Code Red.

The track opens with the typical ‘arriving to something great’ sounds and the break down well crafted to be a faint reminder of the Swedish House Mafia sound. Violin samples coupled with big beats create the colossal ground for the magnificent sound that the song carries but the true attraction of the song is the hype that the two proficient artists are able to make up before delivering in on the signature evolved House “drop”. Out on Code Red today, here is ‘Opium’ for your playlists!
