Shapov is about to finish ‘belong’ with Axwell & Ingrosso

Shapov may be a new name to the dance music community, but he has certainly paid his dues and rightly established himself under his previous moniker, Hard Rock Sofa. A duo which in themselves have an esteemed reputation.

Signed to Axwell’s Axtone Records, Shapov has been busy as of late with a string of heavily-supported releases, showcasing his genre-defying style across the past year or so. After a debut EP, and two respective singles, Shapov has also lent his remixing hand to CamelPhat’s collaboration with A*M*E, “Paradigm”. Cleverly combining classic and forward-thinking elements has now become a signature characteristic for the young Russian’s work, that have in turn come to form the ‘Shapov sound’.

However, there is one studio track that we can’t wait to have unveiled formally. “Where I Belong” is Shapov’s single with the legendary Swedish House Mafia formers – Axwell /\ Ingrosso. Having been teased in all the way back in 2014 by Axwell, before being fully revealed during 2015, here’s hoping 2016 delivers the full fledged, polished version. And by the looks of things, Axtone should be receiving it in all of its glory in the not to distant future!
