Deadmau5 previews dark tech house tune on Soundcloud

Having come out of production hibernation with the completion of his brand new studio, the mau5 has been working constantly on new tracks for his much anticipated new LP.

Having already uploaded a couple of new tracks onto his Soundcloud page, the latest is his best yet. Moving away from his trademark progressive house sound and onto a tech-house orientated direction, “Sick Days” sounds as though it could easily be released on Anjunadeep. Compromised of an emotive bass line which bounces around your ear drums accompanied by a continual arpeggio that is all backed by neatly mixed drum rhythms, if this is the sound Joel is going after, we really can’t complain.

Produced using Bitwig as opposed to Joel’s usual  DAW of Ableton, we’re really digging this track, and hopefully there’s more tunes in this style to come from the mau5.
