Deadmau5 has had a busy schedule as of late and has recently gathered the attention of many people especially throughout Miami Music Week. From his expressed anger during Spotify’s event to his marvelous back-to-back set with Eric Prydz during a SiriusXM party, the Canadian DJ has clearly been on a roller coaster ride in South Beach this week. In addition, he replaced The Prodigy as the closing act for Ultra Music Festival Miami’s Live Stage on Saturday, which allowed fans to experience more deadmau5 madness.

Just before Ultra Miami commenced, deadmau5 put together a massive two-hour show for Mau5trap’s first ever Apple’s Beats One episode. The mix features the beautiful sounds of progressive house, tech house, and everything in between, beginning with Tim Hecker’s “The Piano Drop”. Tracks from the likes of Aphex Twin, Ben Frost, Tycho, and Maceo Plex were also played along with Mau5trap releases from BSOD, No Mana, Matt Lange, and BlackGummy. To conclude the episode, deadmau5 played two of his tracks, “Avaritia” and “Coelacanth II”, and finished the show with a bang.
