Exclusive: We Rave You x SKIO Music presents “Funk Yourself” remix competition

Having received one of its first plays via the 253rd episode of ‘Hardwell on Air’ and also picked as ‘Hardwell On Air – best of February 2016’, the Mr.Black and WAO‘s “Funk Yourself” delivers both DJ/Producers eclectic characteristics, carrying a history that already includes features from the likes of Hardwell, FTampa, Fedde Le Grand, Michael Woods and even DJ Mag France. And having gone on to be played all over the globe, its held in high regard with fans and DJ’s alike.

Opening with a sharp bass and descending chords, the vocal riff adds a robotic edge to the bursting siren FX and heightening tempo. With the minute mark bringing in a volumed drop, the tracks appeal to the peak-time continues on into the bridge and breakdown.

However YOU could change that paragraph to whatever you like.

Pairing up with the SKIO Music, Mr.Black, WAO and We Rave You are proud to present the official remix competition for “Funk Yourself”. While no small task, for all budding talents, producers and DJ’s alike out there this is a neat opportunity to showcase what you’ve got to offer. And with it featuring some of the scene’s prized names and Europe’s biggest dance music online magazine, it has the potential to be more than just a competition win.

Better still, contest entrants will have the chance to be officially released on Push The Volume Records, as well as the winner having their track premiered by We Rave You itself to its ever-growing fan base.
