The Flying Dutch announces its Swedish edition
The rumours have been circulating since the likes of Steve Angello, Alesso and Avicii all posted mysterious pictures of a ‘Swede Deal‘ poster on their social media accounts, with some fans speculating that we may even be seeing the formation of a new ‘supergroup’ from Sweden. But today it has been confirmed that The Flying Dutch, the largest open-air Dance festival in the Netherlands, is spreading its wings with a special edition: ‘The Flying Dutch – Swedish Journey’. On Saturday 30 July, Swedish’s biggest names will be flown around the Netherlands where they will each perform at three separate locations.
The successful concept of The Flying Dutch saw its first Dutch edition last year, when ten of the top Dutch DJs flew around their home country in order to perform for 100,000 ecstatic fans. The Swedish DJs will walk in the footsteps of their Dutch colleagues and write history, as never before have these DJs performed together at an event. Ticket sales will start Monday 4 April through www.theflyingdutch.com, where you can find more information about the event. As of today the audience can register for the pre-sale, starting Saturday 2 April. Find the trailer over here: https://vimeo.com/160256179
