ManyFew are another product of the Swedish DJ/Producer pipelines, comprised of two brothers Jacob and Victor Andersson. Hailing from the nation’s EDM powerhouse, Stockholm, the newest talents have wasted no time in proving their worth of the limelight.

Influenced by the old-school disco sounds from the funky 70’s and 80’s, ManyFew are equally drawn to the modern form of house music. Having spent 5 years crafting a fusion of their spectrum’s ends, their portfolio have come under a number of different aliases. Set up with their own studio, ManyFew’s production, mixing and mastering skills are now of an elite level. And considering they are self-taught, it only adds to the status they hold.

Delivering their first material under their new identity, “Midnight” is an unofficial four track EP. And with it being nearly 20 minutes long, you get the sense plenty of care and creation has been taken over the impressive debut. While “Get On Up” brings a bass-driven disco groove, topped with timely vocals, “101” is more tempo orientated, with the building layers running parallel to the soft melody, vibrant bass guitar and drawn synths. Joined by “Sometimes”, a deep, hard and funky number, its bridge also provides a calmer, piano angle with fitting lyrics. And consequentially, reflecting the experience and diversity of sound ManyFew brings is “Colosseum”. A mystical composition of anthemic synths and heart warming chords that echo characteristics of Eric Prydz dare we say it. Thus leading to the statement, that as debut EP’s goes, this is impressive to say the least.

Promising plenty of surprise’s in the near future, ManyFew have future work featuring names such as Nicky Romero and Nile Rodgers. Also in the works is a track alongside multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Claire Rodrigues Lee. Having been responsible for J-Pop and C-Pop chart toppers, Lee has also worked alongside Alexandra Stan, so you can be sure we’ll be keeping an eye on what the results are from this collaboration.
