Sem Vox is a name with a lot of influence on the dance music scene. Having been a founder of the DLDK movement, its reputation as a global name started in arguably the home of it all, Ibiza. So it seems more than fitting that the 2016 DLDK Amsterdam anthem comes from the man himself.

Having had tracks supported by names such as Afrojack, Diplo and Martin Garrix, Sem Vox is no stranger to the big scene’s. Now with years of experience under his belt, his ability to create a dynamic atmosphere and to make people dance are widely respected and praised upon. With a portfolio that includes playing main at the likes of Creamfields and Mysteryland, Sem Vox has rubbed shoulder’s and crossed paths with the like of Skrillex and Steve Angello more than once at the Main Stage’s. With a schedule that involves globe-trotting to numerous well-known venues, the ‘Don’t let Daddy Know’ concept is continually upheld by his material and performances.

Building ominously, the track echoes that of the recent electro/big-room trend. With the vocal chopping topping the chordal sequence, the tracks melody and vocal riff leads into a tempo-driven development of festival proportions. Igniting at the 90 second mark, the tracks monstrous synths produce a flared mood to say the least. Continuing his reputed style of dance-inducing sets, Sem Vox’ latest material doesn’t cease to disappoint at all.

Undoubtedly set to amass crowds this coming festival season, the fist-pumping will be non-stop throughout the madness of his mixes. Acting also as the debut single on the incepted DLDK Music imprint, the standards are already very high.
