Time Warp – The truth is on the dancefloor

For more than 20 years the German giant Time Warp has been shaping up the direction of techno music all across Europe. With its 12th edition around the corner it continues to prove it is one of the most renown festivals around the world, expending globally to cities such as Buenos Aires, New York City & Utrecht.

Time Warp was born in 1994 and held in various locations, but the city of Mannheim, Germany remained “the one”. And now, 22 years later, it welcomes 6 stages, over 20 000 fans, more than 40 DJs & 19 hours of dancing. Might sound just like any other festival, but, it is not every day you get to hear 6+ hours sets of the likes of Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox & Laurent Garnier. It is a gathering of friendship, not just between fans, but DJ’s as well. It is the home of the elite of techno such as Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Pan-Pot, Sven Vath (whos barely missed an edition since its start), Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos and a whole bunch of other legends.

What differentiates Time Warp from others? The answer is simple – underground vibes & top notch sound quality. Whilst production seems to be the prime focus on festivals nowadays, this is not the case here. It’s rather a symbiosis between sound & light incorporated into stunning stage designs. It’s a 100% about the music. The experience. The atmosphere

“The Time Warp is not a festival, it is a rave and embodies the original values of the electronic music scene. From the music to the production to the audience – it’s all interlinked. This spirit is unique worldwide”Laurent Garnier.
