Our top 15 tracks in celebration of A-Trak’s birthday

2015 has been a busy year for A-Trak, in and out of the studio, completing a headlining tour, the annual Fool’s Gold Day Off series, banging out remixes of The Chainsmokers, Alesso and Disclosure, and eventually making his way to New York Fashion Week for an appearance at Kanye West’s showcase. Starting his career by winning the DMC World Championships at the young age of 15 (!), A-Trak became the youngest and first Canadian winner of the competition.

In late 2009, A-Trak dropped an electrifying club edit of the indie band Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Heads Will Roll” that went on to be a viral hit in the ever – growing dance music scene. Three years later, it made its break into the mainstream when featured in the adolescent party blockbuster Project X. Even today the track is played at numerous stages worldwide and brings every party to a higher level. But his legacy goes far beyond his worldwide hit “Heads Will Roll”.

To celebrate the prodigy’s birthday, we decided to compile our favourite 15 tracks in order to celebrate. Happy birthday Alain Macklovitch!
