Alan Walker – Faded (Hardwell Remix)
After raking in the awards at this year’s International Dance Music Awards and playing a killer set (as usual) at Ultra Music Festival Miami, Hardwell has decided to keep the momentum going. The Dutch house legend has gone ahead and put his own spin on Alan Walker’s chart topping single, ‘Faded’. Premiered on Hardwell’s prestigious radio show, Hardwell On Air episode 261; his uplifting rework is an anthem specifically designed to energize festival crowds.
The original score, ‘Fade’, spread like wildfire when it hit popular YouTube blog, No Copyright Sounds. The track was soon signed up for radio play with an infectious vocal-line from Iselin Solheim, which got the world talking. Last month, Tiesto wooed his audience with his trancy-progressive version of the remix in Norway and now Hardwell’s take has managed to cover the festival mainstage spectrum.
Maintaining a lot of elements from the original, including the melody; Hardwell’s remix just gives the score an extra boost, turning it into a real floor-filler.
