Armin Only: Embrace Australian tour is officially cancelled

Armin van Buuren’s world tour – Armin Only Embrace was to hit Australia in June for a 2-day show in Sydney & Melbourne, but it is confirmed to be cancelled. The official statement was released on the official page of the local promoter – Totem OneLove, as well as Stereosonic’s social pages. Unfortunately no reasons for this decision were given, leaving hundreds of fans stuck with occurred expenses for flights & hotels, causing a massive disappointment on Facebook & Twitter.

Tickets refund information, as well as the official announcement about the cancellation can be seen here.

Multiple social media profiles speculated that the circumstances are a result of the file for bankruptcy by the festival’s U.S. parent company SFX. 2016 has been a disappointing year for the local fans, as the biggest Australian dance festival Stereosonic has also been cancelled, although they confirmed they will be back in 2017. The uncertain future of te Australian dance scene has been a subject of discussions for the past few weeks, however the cancellation of Armin Only came out as a complete shock to many.

AO Embrace world tour is set to be Armin van Buuren‘s “biggest and most extensive tour yet” & exclusive vinyl sets have been announced at all locations around the globe. The list of dates can be seen below, however it is expected many others to be added at a later stage.
