Benny Benassi & Chris Brown – Paradise

Benny Benassi is arguably Italy’s mos world renowned DJ/Producer export in recent times. While less dominant on the charts than he was 10 years ago say, his music hasn’t ceased to impress us and be placed among our replayed and playlisted tracks.

Pairing up 5 years after their major hit “Beautiful People”, that soared up main stream charts across the globe, Benassi has brought along Chris Brown for another collaboration. This time taking a more tropical vibe than the previous deep one, Benassi put’s his hand to what is one of dance musics biggest trend’s. However, we can hardly say it is any less catchy and infectious.

Having just filmed the official video for the track, it’s evident we’re not the only ones tipping big things for this track during the upcoming summer. Catered for the radio, road trip and everywhere in between, Chris Brown’s heart warming lyrics add a fitting mood to the fulfilling atmosphere provided.

Optimistic in lyrics and sound, Benny Benassi’s used of a sharp, pulsating beat carries the song with strength and purpose. Incorporating Brown’s voice early on, the rising layers consist of a gentle melody and thumping synth before teasing the leading melody that allows the tropical vibes to come to fruition. Coming to the forth with tempo, “Paradise” uses a progression that capitalizes on disco connotations before breaking into its soulful bridge led my Browns signature vocals.

Having accumulated over 85,000 plays in just 72 hours on SoundCloud, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this track acting as Benny Benassi’s re-emergence onto the main stream charts given Brown’s global appeal and recognition. That and the fact it’s one of best ‘summer’ songs we’ve heard to date for 2016.
