Calvin Harris – This Is What You Came For (feat. Rihanna)

Calvin Harris and Rihanna have finally released their long-awaited new collaboration “This Is What You Came For” after causing an expected stir on social media with Calvin announcing the single yesterday.

The collab comes almost five years after the two superstars teamed up for “We Found Love,” a worldwide hit that spent an incredible 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The duo, who also worked on “Where Have You Been” from the same project, performed “We Found Love” together at the recent edition of Coachella.

We are yet to find out whether “This Is What You Came For” will be a single off Calvin’s upcoming follow-up to 2014’s hit album “Motion”. Rihanna has just released her new album”ANTI” in January and is currently on her “ANTI World Tour.”

‘This Is What You Came For” is very much what you would expect from the Scottish superstar DJ. The track is a vocal and pop-oriented track that is bound to dominate worldwide radio waves throughout summer. As the track kicks off with powerful vocals by Rihanna, the production builds up with choppy vocal cuts and uplifting synth work before breaking into a catchy yet upbeat drop.
