Skrillex and Diplo, better known as Jack Ü are known to venture into uncharted waters when it comes to projects outside of the traditional realm of electronic music. The pair controversially teamed up with Justin Bieber to release the hit track “Where Are Ü Now,” while Skrillex was a producer on Bieber’s album ‘Purpose’. In spite of criticism for ‘selling out’ from music peers like Deadmau5, the risk taking in their productions paid off with the undisputed success of Bieber’s album.

Continuing the trend of high-profile collaborations, Diplo revealed an involvement in the production of two tracks on Beyoncé‘s highly-anticipated new album “LEMONADE.” Diplo announced his role in the superstar’s album on his social media accounts adding that he was involved in the production of the tracks “All Night” and “Hold Up.”

This is certainly not the first time Diplo has collaborated with the superstar singer. In 2011 Diplo produced Beyoncé’s hit track, “Run The World (Girls)” and remixed the popular “Drunk in love” while Jack Ü remixed Beyoncé’s track “7/11″.

It comes as no surprise that electronic music has been a huge influence in today’s pop music and the recent collaboration between Diplo and Beyonce is proof that the trend is far from over.
