Ellie Goulding confirms Calvin Harris new collaboration

They’re back.  One of the most well-known DJ/singer duo will be working together yet again.

Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have brought us top rated songs such as Outside and I Need Your Love.  It’s to no surprise that the long-time collaborators are back but with an added surprise.

Back in early March Ellie Goulding let it slip in an interview with The Guardian about the newest collaboration.  She noted that there was also a second singer.  A male.  But, would not give any more details as to who the male vocals could be, except for maybe that it is not Justin Bieber.  The song has yet to be named.

The confirmation of the collaboration came as shocking news as she had also shared her plans to take an indefinite break from music after her split from boyfriend Doug Poynter, the bassist of McFly. Goulding is regarded as a notable electro-inspired pop artist and also has collaborations with other major DJ’s such as Skrillex and Seven Lions. The dance scene will surely miss her angelic voice if she follows through with her plan to take a break.

But for now, we’ll wait with abated breath the release of the new song with Calvin Harris and this mysterious male singer.
