Gorillaz tease upcoming album with big collaborations
After promising a new album for this year, Gorillaz front man Damon Albarn looks to have kept good on his promise after videos emerged on Instagram from collaborator Jamie Hewlett’s Instagram showing Albarn hard at work in the studio.
If the pictures are anything to go by, it looks as though the upcoming album is going to be incredible with electronic music pioneer Jean Michel-Jarre seen in the studio, as well as producer Twilite Tone.
A since deleted Instagram post also showed legendary trip-hop group Massive Attack working with Albarn in the studio. We can only dream of what these two groups would sound like together. But we have a hunch it will be nearer incredible than disappointing!

Hewett also recently posted some pictures of the bands animated characters, further creating hype for the new album:
To put it bluntly, we are stoked to hear what the group have been working on and will be sure to keep you updated on any further developments!
