Porter Robinson and Mat Zo’s “Easy” turns 3

When hook masters Mat Zo and Porter Robinson teamed up in 2013 for their monster release “Easy“, it came as no surprise just how towering the track would become. Now, three years later, we continue to turn up our speakers and celebrate this monumental classic when it appears on shuffle or we feel a little nostalgic. Reaching number one on Beatport (obviously), it’s prevalent that the song’s true key to success is the build off each others strong suits instead focusing on their own – Teamwork at its best.

Known for his genre-bending capabilities and ridiculously clean production statements, Zo added his drum and bass roots to the core helping unearth Robinson’s synth domination without overcasting a shadow. Being almost seven whopping minutes, the extended mix starts off strong with vocal’s from¬†Colour Blind’s,Nothing Better“, to an all out invitation inside the minds of the industries most intuitive creators. Listening through, it’s hard not to fall completely in love with the track when it reaches the beautiful 4:33 mark where it gains legs that seem to run for miles.

All in all, the anthem has A+ arrangements, a bandwidth that stretches for miles, and harmoniously fluffy vibes even your mother would love. I think it’s easy to say “Easy” will remain an industry trailblazer for many years to come.
