Rain Man – Bring Back The Summer ft. OLY (Hardbros Remix)

Hardbros are yet another DJ/Producer duo hailing from the European nation of Italy. But as their discography proves, they’re far from have a set sound, rather can be described as unbound by the sub-genres of dance music.

Formally known as Lorenzo Erre and Federico Venturini, the aspiring duo have a portfolio that includes some of the music industry’s most well known names. Having done remixes of names such as Julian Calor and Pierce Fulton to great acclaim, the pair now have 11 tracks to their name in just over 2 years. Including a mightily impressive bootleg of Keisza’ “Hideaway” and a dance floor mashup of Bruno Mars’ Grammy-winning hit alongside Mark Ronson, “Uptown Funk”.

Taking on Dim Mak’s recent banger “Bring Back The Summer” by Rain Main and featuring the smooth and harmonic vocals of OLY. Using a less formulated structure to most of the scene’s tracks today, Hardbros use a lyrical opening under laid with delicate piano chords. Rising towards a Drum and Bass styled development, the liquid synths and drawn melody are carried by a steady tempo and over laid with a plucky sequence before the vocally-led bridge.

Characterized by intelligent use watery FX, the piano section returns with a more potent and anthemic verse by OLY. Easily one of the best tracks to source from the Mediterranean coast this year, the dynamic track is hard not to appreciate.

With support from the likes of Tom Swoon, Merk & Kremont, Bottai, Juicy M and Blinders, Hardbros are ascending the pools of talent and into the global limelight.
