Thousands of club lovers were saddened by the news that 2016 will see the closing of the legendary Club Space Ibiza. One thing for sure is, they are ending an era as true winners, as the venue was awarded World’s #1 Club in the world, according to the DJ Mag Top 100 Club poll, which was announced on March 31st, 2016.

Green Valley, Brazil stepped down one spot, after snatching the crown in 2015. Overall the top 10 hasn’t changed and still hosts names such as Amnesia (3), Pacha Ibiza (4), Octagon (5), Zouk Singapore (6), Hakkassan (7), Ushuaia (8), Sirena (9) & BCM (10).

Overlooking the whole top 100, it is difficult not to notice the amount of clubs located in Croatia, a country, whose coast is being considered as “the new Ibiza” in the past year or two. And with a number of festivals in proximity of it, we can expect to hear a lot more gossip and see even more dance music entertainment on the Mediterranean shores.

Notably, the highest entry went to the remarkable Omnia in Las Vegas, for reasons obvious reasons to say the least.

You can see the whole Top 100 here. Did your country make it?
