Steve Angello and Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman’s anthem “Payback” is two years old

Without question one of the biggest tunes of 2014 was Steve Angello’s monstrous work with Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman on “Payback”. A highly sought after ID for a number of months before it’s release, fans were looking everywhere for this colossal record and had to do with low quality set rips until it was released.

Perhaps one of the biggest moments in this song’s history was when Steve Angello brought out Vangelis and Wyman to drop the track at Ultra to the enormous eruptions of the crowd. The massive progressive house synths and chord progression made this one tune that stuck out in playlists over the followuing summer and was dropped by almost every DJ at festivals. So lets take a step back to 2014 and celebrate one of Angello’s greatest productions, this is Payback:
