Superstar Tiësto has always been a trailblazer in the electronic music industry. As a DJ and producer who always chooses to set trends rather than follow them, his fans have learned to expect the unexpected from the music legend. Tiësto is surprising his fans once again with an entirely different direction to his high energy electro house anthems and DJ sets. Fans of his hit radio show ‘Club Life‘ have had an insight into another music genre that the hit-maker is passionate about through select episodes of the radio show titled ‘Club Life After Hours’. One of Tiësto’s Spotify playlists was also an indication of what was to come.

Tiësto has recently been teasing fans on social media with a concept titled “AFTR : HRS” and today it has finally been revealed that the music superstar is launching a deep house record label. Speaking about the label in a facebook post the superstar says:

“I have always loved playing deep house and more mellow tracks in my radio show and my live shows, but I also love to listen to it when I drive or go out late night/early morning! I wanted to create a new label just to release these types of tracks. So today, I am launching AFTR : HRS . Get ready for some great music!”

This change of pace is an extremely refreshing direction for Tiësto and we anticipate a blend of some of the freshest deep house tracks and perhaps re-edits of some old classics. We’re excited to see what’s in store for this promising new label headed by the groundbreaking DJ. The first track off the”AFTR : HRS” label will be premiered today on Danny Howard‘s BBC Radio 1 show.

Tiësto’s facebook post showcased a deep house track to give fans a taste of what’s to come:
