Nostalgia is on the rise this week as fans all over the globe celebrate nine years of Tiësto’s unprecedented album, ‘Elements of Life‘. Serving as the Trance icon’s third studio release since, ‘In My Memory‘ back in 2001, Elements invites all who listen to a journey into the world of experimental Trance and progressive success. Nominated in 2008 for Best Electronic/ Dance Album during the 50th Grammy Awards, this four time Platinum Record will forever set a tone as one of the industry’s most essential releases.

Serving as CEO in terms of Trance trailblazers, ‘Elements of Life’ exhibits Tiësto’s true mastery in original and collaborated works. With two studio versions launched, standard and limited, songs like “Ten Seconds before Sunrise”, “Dance For Life” and “Carpe Noctum” all showcase his breakthrough musical vibrancy. “Everything”, featuring stunning vocals from American artist JES, along with three works with ambient producer BT (cough, cough, “Break My Fall”) are also arguably some of the album’s best and most noteworthy releases.

Setting an industry standard for EDM and its predecessors, today we thank this three time ‘DJ of the Year’ for his hooks, riveting harmonies, and all which is showcased in the perpetual, ‘Elements of Life‘.

Take a walk down memory lane with us below and get nostalgic – We know you want too.
