Ever since the release of Kygo‘s ‘Cloud Nine‘, dance music fans have been buzzing over the astonishing sounds of the highly anticipated studio album. One week after its release, the album was able to accumulate over 17,000 sold copies and take the #1 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The Norwegian producer’s debut album was also able to take the 11th spot on Billboard’s overall Top 200 Albums.

The first-week sales of ‘Cloud Nine’ are the most ever since Disclosure’s ‘Caracal’ sold 25,000 copies. In addition, some of the tracks from Kygo’s album have also received a vast amount of support. “Raging” featuring Kodaline jumped from the 22nd to the 16th spot of the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, “Carry Me” with Julia Michaels reached the 18th spot, “Oasis” featuring Foxes attained the 19th spot, and “Happy Birthday” with John Legend earned the 23rd spot. With this sharply ascending rate in sales, ‘Cloud Nine’ may turn out to be one of the most successful album releases in 2016.

Kygo’s album is out now and you can download your copy from iTunes here.
