Myon & Shane 54 announce saddening hiatus

Myon & Shane 54 are one of the Trance genre’s longest serving members. Hailing from Hungary, in the last 24 hours they’ve delivered some saddening news for their adoring fans. Their collaborative efforts are set to be on hiatus indefinitely.

The duo’s work in helping shape the dynamic of the genre and other’s such as progressive house over the past 8 hears or so have led to releases on the likes of Black Hole Records, Anjunabeats, and Ultra Music. And lest we forget their some of their finest work remixing and remolding the iconic “Summer of Love”. And while they have had only one original release in the past 6 months, “Round We Go” in January, the announcement still came as a shock to many.

Citing amicable reasoning, the producers stated a career spanning nearly just under 10 years alongside each other and a desire to pursue their own individual creative interests had led to the announcement. Posting to their Facebook page and on the group’s website, they also left links to Myon and Shane 45’s solo projects. And while no time frame has been given or hinted at, it is not the end of their infectious creativity – “The book isn’t closed on MS54.”

“To our loyal fans and supporters, after almost a decade of Myon and Shane 54 working as a team, we’ve decided to take some time to explore our own individual paths. The book isn’t closed on MS54. This is just a new chapter. We hope to count on your continued love and encouragement for our adventures ahead.”
