In a recent facebook post, Paul van Dyk updated his profile announcing that his first performance since his injury three months ago will be at EDC Las Vegas.

If you haven’t been in the loop, Paul van Dyk fell off the stage at his performance at ASOT 750 in Utrecht.  Those who were live streaming overseas were wondering what hat happened until 45 minutes later Armin came on the screen and announced that Paul had been rushed to the hospital.  As a result, Armin decided not to play his all vinyl set to close out the night.  It was in the moment when the trance family around the world took to social media; twitter, instagram, and facebook to wish Paul well.  There were very little updates on his health and how he was holding up.

Reports stated that he had a concussion and a cracked vertebrae, but aside from that we didn’t know how long his recovery would take.  He’s had to cancel several shows and put things on hold till mid-June according to his reps.  When the line-up for EDC Las Vegas was announced over a special episode of Nightowl Radio, Paul’s famous song “For an Angel” played for a short few seconds. Fans were ecstatic if this were to be true.  At this point it was still speculation, until announced by Paul himself.
