Skrillex acknowledges upcoming collab with Bruno Mars

In a recent interview released yesterday with Billboard, Sonny Moore, better known as Skillex, expressed his feelings during a late afternoon traffic ride about his industry outlook and future musical endeavors; One of them, with the legendary Bruno Mars.

Over the course of his undoubtedly successful career, the EDM icon has distributed GRAMMY worthy records with some of today’s biggest stars. His 2015 brain child, “Sorry” with Justin Beiber landed at Billboard’s #1 spot, as well as his winning collab with Diplo “Where Are You Now”. These are just some of the recent successes this industry pioneer has crafted for listening ears.

Touching on music misconceptions, accomplishments, and future plans, the interview takes readers into the life of Sonny and where his craft is headed.

And as far as his now hopeful release with Sir Bruno Mars, Sonny went on record saying,

“I’m not going to give specifics of what it sounds like, but what we’re doing is so f–king different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before. Every time I get in the studio with somebody else and collaborate, that’s when I always have revelations and learn about stuff. And I just love stepping outside of what I know and there’s no other music position that can do that.”
