CLMD ft. Alida – Night Train

CLMD will always hold a special place in the European and global electronic music scene’s. Distinctive in sound, the portfolio under the name has always carried a timeless quality to it.

Having impressed while at the helm of the Episode 14 of Rave You Radio, the path CLMD took in his new material was always going to be one of interest. A former duo made up of Norwegians Carl Louis and Martin Danielle, their global hits such as “Stockholm Syndrome” and “Black Eyes & Blue“, cemented the acts name and place in the genre’s folklore for its defining decade.

While they parted ways in 2014, Danielle has taken on the responsibility of the project in a solo format. With an album expected later this year, the first emergence of its composition is occurring. Returning to their older style, the heavy melody brings nostalgic vibes to the “Night Train”. Plush in its layers and subtle in its infectious FX, the rich vocal top adds a sunlit mood to the underlay of drums.

Pairing up with Alida, CLMD has just dropped the official preview of his latest material. Set to be released in 5 days on July 18th, the track see’s Danielle join the Armada Trice label. Having had experience on the esteemed label before, as well as the likes of SIZE and Ultra, the return of CLMD was always going to deserve a just platform.
