Tiësto drops official music video for latest single “Summer Nights” featuring John Legend

Tiësto’s return alongside Grammy-winning musician John Legend prompted much excitement. Given their success of the Dutchman’s special Birthday remix of soulful vocalist’s “All Of Me”, a formal collaboration was always a major possibility.

However, whether it would be any good was another question. Thankfully for both artists it seems that “Summer Nights” has been adopted as a summer anthem for 2016. Gaining a nod of approval from the electronic dance music scene, Tiësto has worked his studio production magic once again.

Premiering it officially at EDC, Legend also performed his fabled and adored track, “All Of Me”, sending fans into a frenzy. While never fully under the radar as such, Tiësto’s output this year seems to be orientated around more quality and nurturing of talent. In turn providing more variety to his extensive portfolio.

Now receiving an official clip, “Summer Nights” can now be seen as a major hit. With the summer score now given a visual accompaniment, the multiple genres including deep and progressive house sounds merge to deliver a gleeful final mix as a core for the video itself.

Suitably filmed in the Dominican Republic, the vibrant streets of Santo Domingo feature as the rightful backdrop. Cameras follow the city’s impromptu dance party as the people let loose to the feel-good jam. Legend also makes a cameo as a singing mural of sorts on the building wall’s as the sultry festivities go down.
