TripL & Warkids ft. Jessy Katz – Love Addiction

Israeli duo TripL have joined forces with fellow DJ/Producer pair Warkids for the latest addition to Freeway Recordings increasingly reputable portfolio. At a crucial time in term of proving its worth and future prospects Freeway Recordings is doing just that. Having had an impressive opening series of releases, the subsequent material that has followed has heightened its status even more.

TripL are continuing to validate their reputation as one of Israel’s hottest emerging talents. Mashing up Axwell  /\ Ingrosso and remixing Gnarls Barkley’s iconic “Crazy”, they now lay claim to multiple releases on the label. Reflecting not only their class, but also John Christian’s ear for quality on his label. Kick-started largely by their top placing for Borgeous and Shaun Frank’s “This Could Be Love” remix competition, the future is certainly bright and illuminated for the duo.

Italian duo Warkids are just making their first steps onto the scene. Enjoying an impressive resume already, their feature on Clublife Podcast 482 and Smash The House radio in the past two weeks ago is something many don’t achieve. Unleashing a monstrous progressive house remix last year, their talent was evident from the outset.

Joining the two pairs of producer’s is vocalist Jessy Katz. Having previously worked with the label’s legend and leader, John Christian, as well as TripL, on “Glance To The Future” Jessy is making a name for herself within the scene.

“Love Addiction” has rightfully also drawn support from not only Tiesto and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, but also YVES V. Taking the format of an extended progressive house track, the track infuses an energized atmosphere with an evocative mood. Broken in by a tone-setting minute-long introduction, the emergence of Katz’ infectious vocals is special. Signifying the intent of the coming chorus and progression, the rising tempo and intensity is a demonstration of musical mastery.

Undoubtedly one of the finest releases by the trio individually, and for Freeway Recordings itself, the three artists have provided a huge anthem with “Love Addiction”.
