Zeds Dead x Diplo – Blame (ft. Elliphant)

Canadian duo, Zeds Dead, has caused quite a buzz since the tease of “Blame”, a bass compiled collaboration with Diplo and Elliphant, during Chicago’s Spring Awakening this past June. A single off their newest album, Northern Lights, set to hit shelves this September, “Blame” has officially been released to the public today and fans couldn’t be happier.

A perfect blend of heavy bass, meets Moombahton drum progression, “Blame” highlights individual skill and uniqueness. From start to finish, Elle Von carries the track with her sultry vocals, all which effortlessly blend the piercing foundation showcased through Zed’s muddy, hard hitting beat placement. As the track hits its 1:18 mark, its seamless drop truly solidifies the hype surrounding the single for the past month.

Their album, Northern Lights marks itself as the duo’s 7th studio album to date. Following 2014’s release, Anywhere Else, it features the likes of Pusha T, Twin Shadow, Jadakiss, and Weezer‘s own, Rivers Cuomo. With an already announced tour, which is said to take off this Fall, Zeds Dead’s notorious reputation seems to remain just as intact since their beginning, back in 2009.

Listen to “Blame” below and look out for the twosome as they take the headlining spot at Pennsylvania’s, Camp Bisco, this upcoming Saturday.
