As the bells have been ringing in the global sphere of the Electronic Dance Community, it’s with a heavy heart that we report that Avicii‘s last ever performance live is about to begin live in the iconic Ushuaia, Ibiza. The Swedish had been a front runner for the title for one of the biggest artists for the past few years and was undoubtedly a poster-boy for the entirety of the Electronic Dance Community along with the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Skrillex, Hardwell, Nicky Romero among others, all of whom are the faces of the rise of the music scene in the past decade.

But as is the way of things, earlier this year in a heart-wrenching news, the Swede decided that this year’s touring set was to be his swansong and he would take to the production desk to continue his life as a musician. While many hearts felt a pain nostalgic of their live Avicii nights, overall audience was happy that Tim had made the decision to ease out his life with reports of sickness were doing rounds. With that background, we’re now at the last show. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is it, assisting Avicii in his last night out at Ushuaia will be the likes of the undisputed man of the hour KSHMR, chart-topping DJ/Producer Seeb, Stockholm buddy & fellow DJ/Producer Albin Myers and Ibiza-born brotherly duo of Mambo Brothers. The Ushuaia night will be a warm one, where great music and atmosphere aside, the focus will be one of being a part of history where the fellow artists and loving audience bid adieu to one of the community’s top-rack producers and adored DJs.

And as the leaves turn orange, it is the only the wish of a Romantic that the winters are rewarding and in the same spirit we wish that Avicii makes a return to touring if and when he deems it fit to the delight of his fans.
