Listen to Hardwell & Craig David’s collaboration dropping this Friday
Notorious for developing some of the industry’s most successful House anthems, Dutch icon, Hardwell, has made a decade long career modeled around his keen sense of variety and next level ideas. Showcased during his Main Stage performance at Ultra Miami this year, Hardwell premiered, for the first time, his soon to conquer, “No Holding Back”; But this time, he wasn’t at it alone. Alongside him was the legendary UK- garage singer, Craig David. The two shared the stage for the sneak peak of “No Holding Back”, where David went LIVE in front of thousands of Ultra fans.
Since that premier, fans have been patiently waiting for the official announcement of Hardwell’s, “No Holding Back”, and lucky for us it’s finally here. Enveloped in a sound unlike most are accustom too, the track’s almost, under-ground feel, is a true testament of Hardwell’s skill set and genre variety. A vocally dominate record from the start, the song does a great job highlighting both David’s unbelievably distinct octave range, with Hardwell’s beat progression, and lower BPM foundation.
Announced on his Facebook page earlier yesterday, Hardwell posted a video recap of his Ultra Miami set, which also revealed a backstage look at both Hardwell and an excited Craig David, behind the scene’s before their collaborated debut. Said to be released Friday, the overload of hype surrounding it points a play index with exceeded expectation.
With a career beginning under UK’s- garage scene, Craig David first found his voice with group, Artful Dodger. Their song, “Re-Wind”, has become one of his most recognized and acclaimed to date; Which, helped pave the way for his solo career in the years to follow. Having worked along side artists, Rita Ora, Jay Sean, and Sting, David’s almost 20 year career is true example of how hard work, and a diversified sound, can allow opportunities from all walks of music. From R&B to now Electronic music under his repertoire, Craig David has become a real, industry staple.
