KINGZMN are a Canadian duo made up of  Zanna Alishahi and Thien Pham-Nguyen. Currently based in London, the emerging DJ/Producer talents aren’t ones to shy from a challenge including some of the industry’s biggest names.

Having remixed the likes of Cash Cash, DVBBS, Smallpools and The Chainsmokers, they have also dabbled in original production to a high degree of success. Catering for the mainstream and the club/festival scene, their tracks take an electro/progressive form. However, for the their studio work, they’ve taken on two of biggest names in the music industry. A reflection of their unwavering attitude and will to test themselves and their abilities.

Remixing the recent global smash hit, “Cold Water”, KINGZMN have reworked Major Lazer’s collaboration with Justin Bieber and MØ into a chopped electro frenzy. Coming in at over three minutes, the duo remodel the tracks introduction from the base up. Breaking in Bieber’s vocal layer atop of their modified melodic layer and accompanying elements, the track then drops into a surging flurry of synthy chords. Controlled by a mastered tempo, it breaks down into a plucky sequence of chimes and emerging beat series.

Using elements from the original to great effect, the remix brings a new dynamic to the atmosphere. Removing the Caribbean, dancehall moombahton sound Major Lazer have become distinctively known for, KINGZMN have put their hand up for the challenge to decent avail. Showcasing their evolving skill set, they have elevated their portfolio to another level once again.
