Skrillex & Wiwek premiere their debut short film ‘Still in the Cage’

Skrillex just continues to break boundaries and expand his illustrious career as an artist. For a brand new project, the electronic music legend teamed up with Dutch DJ and producer Wiwek, who is fresh off his latest extended play titled ‘The Free and Rebellious’. The two OWSLA stars joined forces to create their debut short film called ‘Still in the Cage’, which was premiered at The Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles on August 17^th.

Written and directed by Jodeb, the movie features an ironic and dark adventure drama that is set in the city of Bangkok. The film score is provided by Wiwek himself, which includes tracks from his EP and his collaboration with Skrillex titled “Killa”. Following the premiere night that also included a Q&A session and an afterparty with Wiwek and Skrillex, the entire ‘Still in the Cage’ film was released and you can check it out below.
