Soundgarden – Spoonman (Steve Aoki Remix)

Steve Aoki has recently been on a remarkable streak of releases. Beginning with his highly supported ‘4OKI EP’, Aoki truly showed his versatility in music production collaborating with fellow artists Autoerotique, Shaun Frank, Reid Stefan, and MORTEN. Following this impressive collection, Aoki then joined forces with Panda Funk’s head honcho Deorro for the electro banger “Be Yourself”. With such great momentum building up, the rest of Aoki’s year never looked so bright.

Returning with another remix, the American producer just dropped his remix of Soundgarden’s 1994 hit “Spoonman”. The original version was included in the American rock band’s album ‘Superunknown’ and Aoki fuses in his own sounds and provides a jolting drop to the song. The remix was aired during the 2016 Summer Olympics for a T-Mobile commercial and was just released for download here. You can check out a short preview below:
