Thomas Pikasso has finally returned to provide yet another mighty example of the Progressive House sub-genre. Having impressed thousands following the scene with his work on the instrumental masterpiece “Awakening“, his follow up material was always one of keen interest.

Hailing from the North of the UK, Thomas Pikasso consider’s himself as much producer as he does musical architect. A description hard to argue with given his impressive portfolio opening. Drawing inspiration from renowned and respect names such as Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, it was tracks such as “Payback” and “In My Mind” that guided his sound. With music entrenched throughout his childhood, his craft has methodically been perfected over time.

Embodying a motto of integrity and seeing music as a responsibility as well as a tool, his driving bass lines and rip-roaring melodies have his work on an addictive replay cycle. Demonstrating his remixing ability, Thomas Pikasso hasrecently taken on “Take Me Away” by the iconic Dutch Trance Duo 4 Strings. Replacing the Trance-Euro House sound with a surging flurry of chords and synths, the Bootleg is up there with the best remixes of the classic dance music track.

Nostalgically linked, his desire to retain the original atmosphere we all know and love can be heard throughout. Employing the timeless vocals to great effect, the building pulse of his now signature bass line starts to come to fruition. Surging into a high-octane melody after 90 seconds of surgical production control, the atmosphere is as fulfilling as they come. Breaking down smoothly, it bursts with siren-led energy once again to complete the package.
