Premiere: Yuga & Mr. Saccardo – I Wanna Dance With Somebody

Yuga has teamed up with London-based DJ/Producer Mr. Saccardo for the latest take on Whitney Houston’s iconic classic, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Securing prestigious rights to work on the track from Universal Music, Yuga and Mr. Saccardo wasted no time in converting it into a fully-fledged and bold House music anthem.

Becoming internationally recognized under his alias of Tradelove, Yuga has reached the Top 10 chart on Beatport a number of times now. However it was his distinct rework of the single “Rock the Casbah” back in 2011 that caught many peoples attention. Hailing from Italy, the experienced artist has globe-trotted to the corners of the world throughout his credible career, including the likes of Hong Kong, Spain, UAE, the UK and the USA.

Founding Kaisen Records in 2015, its debut track, a remodel of the renowned “You’ve Got The Love” alongside the voice of Candi Staton, caused a major stir on the Beatport Pulse Chart, placing right at the top. Continuing to explore the spectrum within dance music, Yuga has continued to provide a platform for his music, and rising talents, to springboard off – In turn producing some of finest examples of electronic music.

Such an example is Mr. Saccordo himself. A fellow Italian, the young talent has been putting his hand at not only remixing, but production also. Holding tracks in his portfolio that have over 100,000 and 300,000 plays, he is no stranger to making heads turn and waves roll in the scene. Having had support from the likes of Tiesto and Ummet Ozcan in recent times, Mr. Saccardo is certainly one to keep an eye on.

The pair’s work takes the massive Pop single through a House music vaccum. Reworking every layer through a groovy sound lense, the thumping bass-lines and crisp beat sets an impressive basis. Incorporating elements of Future House, the subtle FX add plucky character and charm in the tracks effect. Using Whitney’s vocals with elegance, the funky underlay’s and infectious melody fuse together for a mighty example of the sub-genre.
