Indian-American producer KSHMR continues his signature indian inspired sound in ‘Invisible Children’ where he has teamed up with Australian sensation Tigerlily, who has brought influences of Melbourne Bounce to the track, creating an excellent mix between the two.

In a recent interview with Billboard, KSHMR explained that the track itself was originally solely Tigerlily’s idea until she sent it to Tiesto, where he suggested that she should work with KSHMR on this idea. KSHMR then gave credit to Tigerlily in the interview, saying “The project was already a great start

You might be curious as to why the pair had named the title ‘Invisible Children’ but as you might know, KSHMR has always been keen on delivering strong messages to his tracks, like in the Jammu music video which ends with a powerful quote “Sometimes the most courageous act is the one you don’t do”. For ‘Invisible Children’, KSHMR stated in the interview “The name comes from a term referring to slum kids in India and places around the world where poverty is so rampant that people begin to stop noticing

The track itself starts with an eastern guitar sound that progresses into a break with indian vocals and a powerful chord sequence which builds up into a hard hitting drop. The drop contains a loud off-beat bass with more indian vocals, giving it a psy sounding effect.

This will also be a huge milestone for Tigerlily as it will be her first release on one of the biggest labels in the world, Spinnin’ Records, which is great to see in such a male dominated industry and so hopefully will inspire many more female artists to replicate this success.

The track is now available on Beatport so make sure you grab a copy!
