2EMPRESS are flying the flag high for not only females in the industry, but also their homeland Belgium as a whole. Now the top ranking female act from the European state, they have steadily worked their way up from their humble beginnings in 2012.

Hailing from the quaint city of Antwerp, Charline and Justine carry a burning passion for the genre that is evident in their studio work and performances across the continents. Playing at some of Belgium’s top clubs, they have since gone on to a larger-scale of attention and popularity. Regularly flying to locations such as Brazil, Mexico and Dubai, they have even already featured at the Tomorrowland line-up.

Now releasing their portfolio through their own label, Rebeat, 2EMPRESS are also aligned to be the new faces of one of Belgium’s most famous TV shows. Restlessly chasing the No.1 ranking for female DJ’s, the duo achieved one of their personal goals two week ago. Performing at the Sziget Festival in Hungary, the event itself attracts nearly half a million fans every year. Transforming Budapest into the musical focal point of Europe for a week, they rubbed shoulders with the likes of Hardwell, David Guetta, and Rihanna.

Joining the likes of Fedde Le Grand and Laidback Luke on their stage’s roster, 2EMPRESS unleashed their magnetic energy and energetic vibes in front of 12,000 dance music lovers. Debuting their custom-designed visuals parallel to some of their unreleased tracks, the duo showed great appreciation for the efforts of their team throughout the process also. Currently working on promotional material and video’s for the upcoming releases, their most recent track is impressing a fair few already.

A collaborative effort with Ace, “Talking Sapphire” is a pulsating dance track destined for their much-loved sets. Using classy vocal-chopping as its own instrumental layers, the plucky melody and drawn synth selection tie in well to the vibrant build up’s they’ve created. A polished finish to each individual layer helps the track also carry a classy air, simultaneous to its oozing energy levels.

Available today through iTunes and Spotify, you can preview their latest track here and as well as in their summary video of Sziget Festival 2016 below!
