Avicii x MHMT – Without You ft. Isi (MHMT’s Revision)

MHMT is a freshly emerged DJ/Producer onto the dance music scene. Pronounced as Mehmet, the German-native, is already showing promising signs of a prosperous future career in the industry.

Avoiding the 128bpm route, MHMT is catering to a spectrum far wider, between 90 and 180bpm. Revolving around the motto that “The most beautiful melodies, lyrics touch the heart and the destructive power of a tornado,” his free spirited approach is a refreshing take. Sourcing inspiration from the latest emerging sub-genre’s such as Future Bass and Chill Trap, to the more staple form of Classic House, he brings a broad musical flavour.

With over ten years of stage experience and a wealth of time within the club-scene, MHMT is as much as raw instrumental musician as he is disk-jockey. With his earlier work including bootlegs that have amassed over half a million plays each on SoundCloud, his sound is certainly appreciated. Now under his new act, his first work, a Future Bass remix of Calvin Harris’ most recent hit “My Way”, has already gained 15,000 plays in under ten days.

Now revising Avicii’s unreleased vocal track “Without You”, MHMT provides another example of his studio prowess. Modifying the original into his own sound, Avicii’s original is flipped into something more destined for the club scene, than the radio waves it was intended for.
