Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s multi-platinum recording hit “We Found Love” turns 5 years old today

Throughout his notorious career, Calvin Harris has become one of the most successful artists within the electronic dance music circuit. From his early work, including “I’m Not Alone” and “Ready for the Weekend”, to his most recent releases such as “Hype” and “My Way”, the Scottish producer has consistently kept a formidable discography under his name for many years now.

Harris has also collaborated with the music industry’s most illustrious names from the likes of Ne-Yo, Ellie Goulding, and John Newman. Arguably the biggest artist Harris has collaborated with would be pop singer and songwriter Rihanna. The two powerhouses joined forces in 2016 for the chart-topper “This Is What You Came For” but prior to this record, Harris and Rihanna also teamed up for the multi-platinum recording hit “We Found Love“.

Today marks the single’s five-year anniversary and thus, let’s relive this legendary dance tune and all of its accomplishments. Since its release, “We Found Love” topped numerous music charts and became a staple on the radio airwaves for several months. The track is listed as one of the best-selling songs in history and even won a Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video.
