Wildly regarded as one of Deadmau5‘s most iconic tracks, ‘Strobe‘ has gone on to be recognised as a timeless classic that continues to evoke emotions years after its original release. And now, marking the 100th release on Mau5trap, the legendary track has received a host of fresh new official remixes from some of the label’s biggest names. Dimension, Feed Me, Lane 8, ATTLAS, and Com Truise were all on remix duties, and they did not disappoint.

First up is Dimension, and although it may seem like quite an impossible task to remix a Deadmau5 classic, the British producer rises to the challenge. Staying true to the original track for the most part, he adds his signature drum and bass sound that gives a new rhythm and energy to the spine-tingling melody, ultimately creating an impressive remix that will be sure to cause a fantastic reaction when it is played live. Up next is the Feed Me remix, who provides his own twist to this classic track and fuses in his signature techno sounds, attaching a bass-heavy drop that has the capability of energizing any club or festival, as well as more electro-style drop that showcases his outstanding technical abilities as a producer, paying tribute to his early beginnings with mau5trap.

As premiered by Pete Tong, Lane 8 also added his unique touch to the original, and opts to maintain the original melody through the use of some metallic plucks and chords, aided by a pulsing bass line and funky beat. This remix would work perfectly at a chilled summer pool party. Fast becoming a standout name in the industry, ATTLAS also stepped up to the mark yet again, creating an atmospheric, emotional track that is almost cinematic in style. Last but not least we have the Com Truise remix, who has used his slo-mo strain of synths and turned ‘Strobe‘ into a sumptuous roller, one that’s packed with glitzy and robotic grooves.
