2012 was quite an incredible year in terms of music releases in the electronic dance music scene. From Hardwell’s historic single “Spaceman” kicking the year off to Avicii and Nicky Romero’s progressive house masterpiece “I Could Be the One” ending it with a bang, there was certainly an unimaginable number of high-quality tracks that were dropped four years ago.
Many of these productions ended up being festival anthems and one particular record that clearly electrified gargantuan crowds across the globe was Firebeatz and Schella’s hit “Dear New York”. After breaking through the scene with their respective releases, the two producers teamed up to create this massive banger that not only received heavy support from fans but from their fellow artists as well.
Today marks the track’s four-year anniversary and to celebrate, we are reliving the grinding electro beats that made this tune such a crowd-favorite. With its energetic vocals, hard-hitting basslines, and oscillating synths, “Dear New York” definitely possesses the right amount of punch that would make any listener go crazy and the brilliant sounds that allowed Firebeatz and Schella to attain the position they are currently in.
