Phillip Cue’s side project ESH has continuously flourished ever since its beginnings in 2015. The Vienna-native first accumulated heavy success after releasing a brilliant future house rendition of Maroon 5’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt”. ESH then kept the flame burning with a couple of more top-notch remixes for the likes of Jasmine Thompson, Galantis, and most recently, The Chainsmokers.

Throughout his career, ESH has honed his signature sound to a tee and his productions undoubtedly prove that. After receiving a vast amount of support over the past year, ESH finally decided to release his debut single titled “Rebels”. Completed by the stunning vocals of Vancouver-native and Eurovision Song Contest attendant Rykka, this track truly provides a beautiful auditory experience from beginning to end.

“Rebels” is opened up by a series of well-designed plucks that progress alongside Rykka’s lovely vocals. Supported by some astounding chords and melodies, the buildup then transitions into the climatic sequence in which a flurry of vocal chops blend impeccably with the aforementioned musical elements. Overall, with its blissful vibes and heartwarming tropical house sounds, this summer tune is more than suitable for energizing any type of dance event and will surely place ESH on the map as one of this industry’s brightest talents.

“Rebels” is out now and you can grab a copy here.
